River + Hunting Lands

THE FAMILY living in the bush are out collecting water from the river and looking for food. Wild onions and fruits grow along the river where Goanna and bird’s eggs are often found. It’s hilly and the work is hard. The three circles show the camps where the family rested and cooked the food they’d found.

Says Josina; ‘Two ladies go hunting out to bush to get food for their family, and water. A long time ago they were all happy looking after family.’
